Amman, Jordan- Arrives Friday (25th November) from Sacramento, Brazilian Top Team Black Belt Cassio Werneck. The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Champion will be teaching at one of his students, Zaid Mirza Academy (Brown Belt under Cassio Werneck) who is the President of the Jordanian Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Association. Zaid Mirza introduced Braziian Jiu-Jitsu in Jordan 3 years ago and already counts with more than 100 students. The purpose of Werneck visit to Jordan is to maintain the high level of the “gentle art” and to show some of his amazing BJJ techniques. Werneck seminar will be covered by local sport channel and later interviewed by Amman’s top Radio station Play Fm. Cassio and Mirza will also be meeting with the President of the Jordanian Olympic Comittee as well as other influential government officials working for the growth of Jiu-Jitsu in the Middle East. An open seminar for Women Self Defense will be held on the 29th of November at Zaid Mirza Academy.
