Pedro Galiza in Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan
BTT black belt teaches at Zaid Mirza Academy
Arrived last week from Brasilia, Brazilian Top Team Black Belt Pedro Galiza. The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Champion will be teaching at Zaid Mirza Academy (Brown Belt under Cassio Werneck) who is the President of the Jordanian Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Association.
Zaid Mirza introduced Braziian Jiu-Jitsu in Jordan more than 3 years ago and already counts with more than 100 students. The purpose of Galiza’s visit to Jordan is to maintain the high level of the “gentle art” and to show some of his arsenal in BJJ.
Galiza’s stay in Amman, will be to help prepare the Jordanian Team for the 3rd Emirates Cup held in Abu Dahbi organized by Carlao Santos. The tournament will have international media coverage and will take place on the 8th and 9th of June. Zaid Mirza will be doing the Super Fight at the event against Olympic Judo Competitor Hassan Mussa from Abu-Dahbi. The tournament will have 12.000usd in money prizes for 1st and 2nd places.
