JUNGLE FC 4 announces the first six fights scheduled for May 21st
Tension was high regarding the names that would be announced for the fourth Jungle Fight Championship show. Since promoter Antonio Inoki and co-promoter Wallid Ismail set the date for the show, fans and insiders started speculation about who will or will not headline the event. Mr. Inoki broke the rumors with the first six fights of the card for the May 21st show. Until now, 17 fighters were confirmed, including Pancrase contender Gustavo Ximu, World BJJ champion Marcio ‘Magrao’ Corletta, the French sensation Kassim Annan, and the man unbeaten in the MMA Brazilian scene, Helio Dipp, among others.
The event’s magnitude is coming louder than the prior editions with these six matches announced. Mainly when two UFC veterans collide in a classic BJJ-versus-Wrestling match, where ‘The Janitor’ Vladimir Matyushenko faces BTT’s Carlos Barreto, and the pace doesn’t come down in other matches like Pele Landy taking on the undefeated Fabricio Monteiro and MMA veteran Jorge Macaco from Chute Boxe academy battling Brazilan wrestler and BJJ black-belt Carlos Baruk. However, high expectations still exist about who will face who in headline fights isstill on.
Probably the fighters who keep blood on their eyes (the famous eye of the tiger) during their fights will be invited to complete for our Las Vegas show (Jungle Fight 5). It doesn’t matter if the fighter has won or lost, we want the best talent’ stated co-promoter Wallid Ismail.
