Professor Luiz Palhares, 6th degree black belt under Rickson Gracie, was in Louisville, KY with majors Luttrell and Abell training the National Guard Team for the All Army Combatives Tournament to be held in Fort Benning, Georgia, on Nov 5-6th. At the time, Professor Luiz was awarded the rank of honorary captain from the Kentucky National Guard.
