With an amateur record of 5-1, and a Pro record of 6-5, Kentucky Fighting Challenge Light-Heavyweight Champion Gerric Hayes makes his STRIKEFORCE debut in Nashville, Tennessee on Friday, Jan 7th, against Bellator veteran Stoney “The Skuller” Hale (3-2).
Originally from Mount Juliet, TN, the soft spoken MMA fighter is appropriately called “The Silent Assassin”.
Inspired by competitors such as BJ Penn, GSP, Matt Hughes, and Frank Mir, Gerric says he is equally comfortable on the ground or banging toe to toe.
Currently training at Bonafyde MMA under Bobby McClain and Carlos Cummings of Panama Beach, Florida, Hayes promises to give his fans a show they won’t forget.
Friday’s STRIKEFORCE event will be available as a Free Preview Weekend on SHOWTIME. The event will be held at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium.
