Brazillian Jiu-jitsu athletes from all across North America, will be making the trip to Montreal Quebec this weekend for the Abu Dhabi Pro North American Canada Trials. This tournament is the first of it’s kind in an effort to expand the sport of brazillian jiu-jitsu and support for it’s athletes that do not wish to take off the Gi for other combat sports. Competitors from as far as Vancouver British Columbia to New York City, will be competing for a chance to win an all expenses paid trip to the world championships of the Abu Dhabi Pro Scheduled where they will have a chance to win cash prizes! As the popularity of Mixed Martial Arts has risen, Brazillian Jiu-jitsu has as well. But now, the sport seaks for professionalism giving hope to its athletes to make careers as full time jiu-jitsu fighters. With a joint union of forces, BTT Canada, GAMMA, Spartans Fighting Academy, Fight Planet,XMMA and Red Nose, the North American Trials, will be the premier BJJ event in Canada.
