Malice at the Cow Palace

Very, very quick report. Sorry, but I didn’t have my computer on me to take notes. In the main event Jake Shields stopped Steve Berger in the second round by referee stoppage after taking Berger’s back and pounding out a victory. Shields looks extremely dominant the entire match but props to Berger for hanging tough and continuing to fight. In the undercard Uriah “California Kid” Faber defeats his opponent by doctors stoppage from a cut in the second round. Nam Phan wins by referee stoppage in the second round (strike to head while on opponents back. Brian Ebsersole defeats Shannon Ritch by tapout in a match that had many in the audience scratching their heads. K-1 trials lightweight champion Alexander Crispim made short work of his opponent, winning by rear naked choke in a few minutes of the first round. Marco Stark Falcone wins by RNC in his Professional MMA debut. More to come!
