Mamute defeats Conterrâneo at Brasil Fight

Joaquim “Mamute” Ferreira won Edson Conterraneo by split decision in a heavyweight bout last Saturday, at Brasil Fight 3. The fight was one of the attractions of the show, held in Belo Horizonte. But the greatest name of the night was Igor Chatubinha, who defeated Marcelo Uirapuru, a sparring partner of Mamute, in just 18 seconds by knockout.

Another great performance was by Ronny Marques and Alexandre Zoio. Marques defeated Fernando Lageano by TKO at first round, and Zoio submitted the brazilian prospect Thiago Michel with a rear naked choke.
