And what an opening night it will be with seven big fights scheduled, featuring seven young Orange County fighters ready to start their climb up the MMA ladder! Then throw in two undefeated female fighters and you have what MMA fans are looking for, action and more action!
How about the Grand Ballroom of the Irvine Marriott Hotel to catch all the action of WinterFist 2008. And Winterfist 2008 is just the first of four Fist Series shows set for 2008 at the Irvine Marriott, with other show dates in April, July and November.
Check out this strong line up of MMA fighters ready to do battle – 3-0 Fabio Costa out of Gracie Barra Gym in Santa Ana, 2-0 Andy Prudencio out of John DelaO Jiu-Jitsu Gym in Anaheim vs Irvine’s 1-1 Luke Adams training out of LA Boxing in Aliso Viejo, andTyler Weathers and Raja Shippen out of Jokers Wild Gym in Lake Forest are some of Orange County’s young warriors ready to do battle. Mix in tough guys Ernie Calma from Unbreakable Gym in San Bernardio and Thor Skanke from LA Boxing in Tarzana, and you have all the ingredients for a great evening of non stop action!
Two featured fights on the card are sure to be wars. 2-0 Jessica Pene from Subfighter Gym in Lake Forest will face 1-0 Heather Basquil from Arlington, Washington in the featured female bout; and 2-0 Junior Merkle our of Krav Maga Gym in LA battles Victorville’s 3-2 Seth Dikin from Team Wildman.
