JDS vs. Loser of Stipe Miocic vs. Fabricio Werdum
JDS has unfinished business with both of these fighters. Miocic and him had a close fight and he gave Miocic his most recent loss. Werdum also has a knockout loss that sent him from the UFC. JDS will want back to the title but only being 2-1 with a recent knockout loss does not bode well for a title shot. A win over them will make a good argument for him getting back toward the belt.
Ben Rothwell vs. Winner of Andrei Arlovski vs. Alistair Overeem
Rothwell should not drop far from this loss considering he took it on short notice. Overeem wants a title shot but he has a loss to Rothwell and Arlovski is coming off a loss of his own even with this win. It makes sense in terms of a title eliminator.
Derick Lewis vs. Roy Nelson
Lewis proved himself to be one of the better power punchers in the UFC and Nelson also has a penchant for one punch knockouts. Lewis is not ready for a Mark hunt level but Nelson is a big enough step up to prove his worth.
Maryna Moroz vs. Paige VanZant
Moroz proved to be a gamer in this fight and VanZant needs a legit opponent in her return. Moroz will supply that and spades as she is dangerous no matter where the fight goes. This is the fight that PVZ needs to reacquaint herself with the cage.
Maribek Tasiumov vs. Al Iaquinta
Both tough Lightweights with four straight wins and a lot of finishes between them in those eight wins. Nonetheless, they should be 0n equal footing and a match would prove the best contender at 155.
