With a bit of Pro Wrestling flair, Stephen Haigh andYuji Miyazaki agree to a MMA’s first ever ‘Loser Shaves His Head Match’!

This came about in very spontaneous fashion’ details matchmaker Miguel Iturrate. ‘The interesting thing isyou have two young professional fighters looking formotivation and looking to prepare. They don’t knowmuch about each other really, and this is their firstinternational bout, so they know what each other lookslike, but they dont have a wide array of matches andfootage.’

A few comments about the other guy’s looks developed in to the first ever MMA ‘Loser Shaves His Head Match’. It will certainly add to the drama, andprovide a bit of a show for the intermissions’ smilesthe matchmaker.

In response to the question about this being atraditional WWE-wrestling type of angle, thematchmaker responds. ‘Of course, they have used it for years. But they are entertainment, and the MFC adds the competition factor. In the MFC, neither guy wants his hair cut. Stephen is from Philly, and he will know several hundred people in the audience. Miyazaki has a real day job in Japan – he had a to make sure it was OK to come in bald if he lost, etc. Neither guy wants to be bald as winter sets in! I give credit to bothfighters for this spin. People will talk about it!’
