Hey guys!!
So I arrived here in Rio de Janeiro last Wednesday and right away put on my gi and got down to business!! I trained two times at my brazilian brother Theodoro Canal’s academy in Recreio and once at the GFTeam headquarters in Meier. The training was awesome! At the end of the training session in Meier, after seven heavy matches, I was surprised by a challenge to fight in the "International Superfight" against the Canadian Jake Mackenzie. I started out well but ended up landing in his game and he took my back, to a soundtrack of the entire academy chanting "Jake’s Gonna Get You!" and "Hoo, You’re Gonna Die!". What a great reception huh?? Someone was taking a video so I’ll try to get my hands on it…. Now I’m here at my other Brazilian Brother Marcus Antelante’s house in Tijuca and will begin training with Soulfighters team. Really looking forward to it!!
