Hey Guys!
The IBJJF Pan 2013 this last weekend was my first time stepping into the big leagues as a black belt and even though I lost both of my matches I left with even more confidence, desire and motivation to train than ever!! Both of my matches were against top competitors in Marcus Buchecha Almeida, the number one man of the hour at this year’s pan, and JT Torres who’s Jiu-Jitsu I have admired for a very long time. I felt I fought well in both matches and most importantly after coming away feeling like my jiu-jitsu stacked up against one of the toughest competitors in the lightweight division I was able to prove to myself what I already believed: that I deserve to be out there on the mat with the best!
