Hey guys!!
Coming up next week, October 6th and 7th, is the always awesome Us Open of BJJ in San Jose, CA organized by my instructor Claudio Franca and its definitely a tournament not to be missed! I’m still out of the action due to the arm bar I suffered in the semi-finals of the absolute at the nationals earlier this month and sadly I won’t be able to compete. I guess the lesson to be learned is that if the guy’s got your arm make sure you tap BEFORE you hurt yourself and are put out of future tournaments. Still, I’ll be there cheering everyone on and hopefully not having to referee if I’m lucky (which I’m probably not) so see you there and if I’m reffing your match please don’t yell at me too much OK?
