Here’s a vid of my fight with JT Torres at this year’s Pan 2013!! I had a bye in the first round and was slated to face Tanner Rice first, which would have been an exciting rematch for sure but unfortunately Tanner was unable to make weight so I passed through to the quarterfinals without fighting. JT was waiting for me after finishing his first opponent from the back. What followed was the exciting fight above! I felt very good in the fight and I believe the difference in the match came in one specific moment near the end where I lost focus for a fraction of a second and JT was able to capitalize and take me down, increasing his lead from 2-0 to 4-0. I’ve always been a fan of JT’s jiu-jitsu and it was a killer experience to face off against him for the first of what I’m sure will be many times!! Hope you enjoy the video!!
