Rumble World Entertainment Presents ROTR “Showdown in Maui”
LAHAINA, MAUI- Sep 30, 2005 Rumble World Entertainment (RWE) will bring its premiere Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) event, Rumble on the Rock (ROTR) to Maui`s shores on Friday, October 7th at the Lahaina Civic Center. This is the first time RWE will bring its heralded and action-packed production to Maui. The event will feature Cabbage Correira vs Lloyd “Kadillac” Marshbanks in the main event of the evening as well as K-1 and ROTR veteran Scott Junk who will take on Bobby Hoffman for a showdown that will test the athleticism and skills of Maui`s best.
Doors will open at 6:30pm and the show will start at 7:30pm. Tickets can be purchased on Maui at local outlets including Uncle Jesse`s, Ainokea and Paradise Auto. Ticket prices start at $25 with premium seating tickets priced at $50 and $100
According to JD Penn, president of RWE, “We are very excited about the opportunity to host ROTR on Maui. The fans there are supportive of the sport and they are enthusiastic about being able to experience a world-class MMA event in their own backyard. We`ve been trying to bring this event to Maui for awhile now and we’re looking forward to scouting the talent on Maui we`ve been hearing so much about,” he said. Penn continued by crediting a local Maui promoter for making it all happen, “Thanks to the help of Douglas “Bradda” Kamanse we are finally able to give the Maui fans the show they’ve been asking for.”
