The future of Mixed Martial Arts meet on November 17th and put on a show to remember. The future of Mixed Martial Arts meet on November 17th and put on a show to remember. The spectators were treated to Spinning kicks, hard knees, high altitude throws and numerous submissions.Pankration competition allows striking to the body and thighs; takedowns, throws and sweeps; along with grappling and submissions. All in a format designed to look after the safety of the competitors. Competitors included a California State Wrestling Triple Crown winner; numerous Jiu Jitsu and no gi tournament champs, including a division winner from Grapplers Quest the day before; a local Taekwondo Champion; and a couple of Judo tournament champs. All were cross trained and could do it all!
