5/5/2011. Cinco de Mayo the first ever amatuer MMA fights took place at Club Play in South Beach! The action was non-stop!
First up was Black Belt instructor making his debut, Fred Monciao, whom easliy dispatched his opponent in the 1st round by triangle choke.
Next up, standout wrestler, Yvon Agenord, also making his debut. Yvon had a tough opponent, but his wrestling and jiu jitsu were able to get him the unanimious decision.
And the final fight belonged to Alex Arne, again making his debut, who showed true warrior spirit after escaping numerous submissions, taking a few big shots and even getting a standing 8 count, was able to grab a triangle but due to being punched illegally while on the ground and having the fight stood up, lost a decision.

This event featured another Black Belt instructor, Vagner Rocha, who absoutly destroyed Jacob Clark in about 2 and a half minutes by arm triangle. Vagner has now stepped up into title contention in the promotion be sure to check out MFAFIGHTS.COM to keep up with his next fight!
