While in the heat of the successful Gracie Barra Knightsbridge opening seminar, Lucio “Lagarto” Rodrigues surprised the audience and specially Jack Magee, by awarding him his well deserved Black Belt.
At 28 years of age, Jack already has a respectable MMA track record. Jack and Lucio met in Rio de Janeiro, where Jack trained with Lucio’s friend Roberto Gordo (creator of the half guard). While Roberto Gordo was the one responsible for Jack’s progression so far, it was in the UK that Jack, training alongside with Lagarto, set himself up to step to next next level: Black Belt.
