Named in honor of Southern California MMA fighters, the University of MMA (aka ‘The U of MMA’) presents ‘Champions of Tomorrow!’ on Sunday, May 20th from CLUB NOKIA @ L.A. LIVE. This long-awaited show will featured the FIRST EVER U of MMA TITLE MATCH, as two top featherweights vie for the vacant 145 lb. championship. Additionally, the U will host the opening rounds of two different four-man tournaments to crown champions in the welterweight and heavyweight divisions. Finally, fans will be treated to a new style of fighting in COMBAT JIU JITSU, where grapplers take their art to the next level. ‘Champions of Tomorrow!’ will showcase the best amateurs from Southern California’s top MMA fight teams, including 10th Planet Van Nuys, 10th Planet Riverside, Sweet Science MMA, True Warrior Fitness, Legends MMA, Team Quest, Adrenaline MMA, Kings MMA, Werdum Combat Team, West Coast Jiu Jitsu, PKG, and Kerr MMA.
