Tito Ortiz’s BJJ Coach, Ricardo “Demente” Abreu, preparing for MMA debut

BJJ black belt, Ricardo "Demente" Abreu is ready for his MMA debut.

Abreu has been in the U.S. sharpening the jiu-jitsu of Tito Ortiz. Ricardo’s tips seem to have worked, with Ortiz fitting a guillotine on Ryan Bader during last Saturday’s UFC 132. Abreau, a BJJ world champion, will now try to show his BJJ skill set along with what he’s learned about MMA from athletes like Tito and Anderson Silva when he goes against Marcos da Silva.

His fight will be in the premiere edition of the Brazilian Fighting Championship (BRFC), which happens on July 9, in São Jose do Rio Preto, Brazil.
