Tsui-Jen “Soo Bee Doo” Cunanan, Successful Title Defense!

Phoenix Combat Academy finds itself yet again in Sin City for Tuff-N-Uff at the Orleans! After winning the 135 lb women’s Tuff-N-Uff title, Tsui-Jen “Soo Bee Doo” Cunanan finds her self back in the ring against Emily Peters Keagen. After their first meeting which resulted in a very controversial loss, Keagen hurt herself in the fight with Tsui-Jen thus forcing her to pull out of the tournament giving Tsui-Jen a shot at the title. After that fateful evening, opinions, comments, and words ran amok throughout the internet. Wanting to redeem herself, wanting to clear the air and leave no questions of who is the better of the two, Tsui-Jen took the re-match/title defense without hesitation!

At the beginning of the fight, they touch, and right off the block, Tsui-Jen goes after her! They get into a clinch, Keagan tries to take Tsui-Jen down, Tsui-Jen lands on top, Keagen Turttles, Tsui-Jen go to her back and immediately starts to attack the arm, Keagen stacks, but despite Keage’s defense, Tsui-Jen still gets the arm bar at 1:20 in the first round! We trained hard for this fight and wanted it to end in the first round. End in the first it did! After a month and a half of hard training 2 – 3 times a day 6 days a week, Tsui-Jen “Soo Bee Doo” Cunanan won in a quick and impressive fashion with a text book arm bar!
