Tuff-N-Uff returns to Las Vegas on March 26 with three titles on the line

Las Vegas’ top amateur mixed martial arts promotion, Tuff-N-Uff, returns to the Orleans Hotel & Casino on Friday, March 26, and the organization’s latest fight card features a trio of championship fights.

One of the most famous bloodlines in MMA will be featured in the evening’s main event as Ryan Couture, son of UFC Hall-of-Famer Randy Couture, headlines the card against Sean Bollinger with Tuff-N-Uff’s vacant 155-pound title on the line.

Tickets for the event, which takes place at the Orleans Hotel & Casino’s Mardi Gras Ballroom, start at just $25 and are available now at the Orleans Hotel & Casino’s box office or online at OrleansCasino.com and TuffNUff.net.

Couture, who trains out of the famed Xtreme Couture camp in Las Vegas, sports an impressive mark of 5-1 as an amateur. All four wins have come by submission, a streak that includes two prior victories under the Tuff-N-Uff banner. Meanwhile, Bollinger is a 22-year-old Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt under the highly respected trainer Eddie Bravo. Bollinger also carries an undefeated mark at 1-0 and fights out California’s 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu.

In the evening’s co-feature, undefeated featherweights Vince Norcia (2-0) and Andrew Alirez (3-0) meet with the vacant Tuff-N-Uff 145-pound title on the line.

Norcia fought most recently in Tuff-N-Uff’s February event and earned a third-round submission win over Roman Isbell with a well-timed arm-bar. Alirez also fought on the February card, earning a unanimous-decision win over Jace Crawford.

The evening’s final title fight features Ken Hahn’s Striking Unlimited product Tim Bowman (2-0) against Albanian brawler Edmond Xhelili (3-0).

Bowman’s two career wins have both come by TKO, and he’s needed just 96 seconds of ring time to earn the victories. Meanwhile, Xhelili has earned three-straight wins to open his amateur career, and all three have come via stoppage. On paper, the matchup looks to provide ample fireworks, and the two Las Vegas residents will meet with the vacant Tuff-N-Uff middleweight belt on the line.

In other action, a four-woman 115-pound tournament kicks off on March 26 with Wanderlei Silva product Gabriella Lakoczky (0-1) vs. Dynamic Martial Arts’ Rachel Nelson (1-0) and Rise Above MMA’s Glena Avila (2-0) vs. Wolfpack MMA’s Sarah Goodlaxson (2-0). The winners of those matchups will return to the Tuff-N-Uff ring on April 23 in the tournament final.

In addition to the evening’s featured matchups, a full lineup of aspiring amateur fighters from some of the world’s top academies, including 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu, Xtreme Couture, Legends MMA, Marc Laimon’s Cobra Kai Jiu-Jitsu, Striking Unlimited, TapouT Las Vegas, Team Quest and Wand Fight Team, will compete at Tuff-N-Uff’s March 26 event.
