Tuff-N-Uff Returns to Vegas

Tuff-N-Uff, the nation’s premier amateur mixed martial arts promotion, returns to Las Vegas’ Orleans Hotel & Casino on Friday, Aug. 2, for an action-packed fight card showcasing the future stars of mixed martial arts.

Doors to Orleans Hotel & Casino’s Mardi Gras Ballroom open at 6 p.m., and the night’s first fight starts one hour later.

"Longtime Tuff-N-Uff fans know the history we built as an organization at the Orleans Hotel & Casino," Tuff-N-Uff president Barry Meyer said. "It’s a bit nostalgic to return to such a fantastic venue and remember when current UFC stars like Ronda Rousey and  Ryan Couture were just starting their careers. Hopefully we can find a few more future stars on Aug. 2."

In one of the night’s featured fights, undefeated featherweight prospect Boston "Boom Boom" Salmon (2-0), a House of RYU product, puts his perfect career mark on the line against the more experienced TapouT fighter J.W. Lee (3-2-1).

"Boston made his amateur debut just four months ago but already looks like the real deal," Barry said. "After his May knockout of Saul Rosales, Boston has been tagged as a future star. Now he’ll meet a stiff test in J.W. Lee, who brings more cage time to the table and could push Boston to the limit."

Additionally, no less than 12 fresh prospects will make their amateur debut on the Aug. 2 card, which features a full lineup of aspiring fighters from some of the world’s top academies – including House of RYU, Kings MMA, TapouT, United Mixed Martial Arts and Xtreme Couture, among others.

Tickets for Tuff-N-Uff’s Aug. 2 fight card are on sale at the Orleans Hotel & Casino box office or by calling (702) 365-7075. Advance purchase tickets range from just $25 to $50 for VIP reserved seats. Ticket prices are $5 more on the day of the event.

The full fight card is available for viewing at TuffNUff.com.

If you can’t make it to the event live, you’ll be able to stream the fights for $5.00 on TuffNuff.com
