UFC Doubleheader Matches to Make

 Michael Bisping vs. Luke Rockhold

These two have been yawing at each other for way to long. From twitter beefs to gym rumors it needs to come to an end and the easiest place for that to happen is the cage. Bisping is a stalwart in the division and has rocketed a few people to a title shot, the same can happen for Rockhold.

Tyron Woodley vs. Hector Lombard

Lombard was supposed to fight Kim, but Woodley stepped in to replace him and had a spectacular finish. These two match up perfectly since Woodley still needs time to build himself up after his loss to MacDonald. Plus, their styles match up nicely.

Rafael Dos Anjos vs. Loser of Pettis vs. Melendez

Dos Anjos should be in line for a title shot after winning his main even in the UFC Doubleheader, but unfortunately, he has that loss to Nurmagomedov is holding him back. With one more win that roadblock should be out of the way. The best bet is him taking on the loser of the title fight between Gilbert Melendez and Anthony Pettis considering he said he wants a little time off after this last fight.

Benson Henderson vs. Bobby Green

Henderson had a huge setback and may have him reconsidering being a company man after taking a fight he really did not need to take. He could have waited and potentially been matched up with the incoming Eddie Alvarez. Now, he needs to rebuild and Green needs a good matchup after being cheated out of his fight with Donald Cerrone. Henderson wants to fight again soon so they could be matched up before the end of the year.

Jordan Mein vs. Kelvin Gastelum

Mein showed he means business with his first round knockout, but before he starts taking on the top ten, he needs to face off with another potential contender in Gastelum. These both have the potential to be the future of the division but only one can make it, who will it be?

Thales Leites vs. CB Dollaway

Leites should not have been in the matchup with someone on a two fight losing streak in Francis Carmont considering he had won three straight in the UFC. now, he has four straight with two knockouts in his past two fights which is good coming from a BJJ background. Dollaway also deserves a step up in competition after his fellow win over Carmont. A win over each other could crack them near the top five.

Neil Magny vs. Thiago Alves

Magny has quietly built a four fight win streak but has not cracked the top 15. Some of that can be attributed to his competition. Alves was supposed to fight on this card but dropped out due to an injury. Magny deserves the step up and hopefully Alves can provide that test for him.

Ben Saunders vs. Erick Silva

Saunders lit up the Octagon in his return but it is hard to match him up with anyone high in the ranking since he took on relative unknown. A match with Silva could be amazing and Silva needs to rebuild after recent losses. This fight has fireworks written all over it so it is hard to deny the fans this fight.
