UFC Fight Night 68 fight card changes due to Bader leaving the card after Daniel Cormier was moved to UFC 187 to fight for the title after Jones removal.

UFC Fight Night 68
UFC Fight Night 68 was originally supposed to have a number one contenders fight between former number one contender Daniel Cormier and TUF champion Ryan Bader. Then the impromptu change to UFC 187, due to Jon Jones title being stripped, lead to Cormier being moved to face off with Anthony Gustafsson for the now vacant title.

The UFC was not hard pressed to remove Bader, but it looks like to suitable replacement could be found and now Bader has been removed entirely. Now, the UFC has decided to change the order of the fights since they have a decent main event waiting on the undercard.

Ryan Bader removed from UFC Fight Night 68.

Dan Henderson may be in his last fight in the UFC if he losses. The former PRIDE and Strikeforce champion has lost five of his last six fights. He has also been finished in three of those losses. He moved back down to Middleweight to recapture some momentum but was starched by Gegard Mousasi. Now, he will take on another fighter looking to keep their job in Tim Boestch.

Boestch has lost four of his last six with many losses where he was outclassed. Also, he has had decent wins with a TKO over Brad Tavares and a split decision over CB Dollaway. Now, he has a chance to get the biggest win of his career over Henderson with a five round main event slot.

In the co-main event, Heavyweight contenders Ben Rothwell and Matt Mitrione will face off. Rothwell has won back to back fights by knockout over Brandon Vera and Alistair Overeem. Mitrione is on his own knockout streak. He has won three straight fights by knockout which all ended in the first round. The winner of this fight at UFC Fight Night 68 may just find themselves in a number one contenders match.
