UFC Fight Night 74 has been announced and it pits two top fighters at Featherweight with a potential title shot on the line for the winner of the fight.
UFC Fight Night 74 takes place August 23rd in Saskatoon, Canada. In the main event, two young Featherweights will face off to see who has a chance for fighting for the title in the future. Charles Oliveira and Max Holloway will put their equally impressive fight streaks on the line this August.
Charles Oliveira has always been a tough fighter with great skills, but he also suffered losses against some of the best in his division. At the age of 25, he has already fought over ten time for the UFC. Originally a Lightweight, he won two straight followed by two losses and a no contest which prompted him to move down to 145. It was much of the same with two wins followed by two losses but those losses came to the top of the division in Frankie Edgar and Cub Swanson. Now, he has won four straight over the likes of Hatsu Hioki, Jeremy Stephens and Nik Lentz. Three of this four wins came by submission as well.
Now, he will be facing off with Max Holloway who is only 23 and has fought over ten time as well. He had a shaky start to his career going just 3-3 in his first six fights, but that may have been him trying to learn the curve of the Octagon s he has now won six straight over the likes of Clay Collard, Cole Miller, and Cub Swanson. This includes five of those six wins coming by way of a finish. It may be unlikely if the winner of this fights gets a title shot, but they could be one win away from a title shot.

Also announced for the a fight is a Middleweight matchup between Chris Camozzi and Tom Watson. This will most likely be a losers leaves town match considering that both fighters have had a majority of losses in their last few fights.
