Thomas Almeida vs. Cody Garbrandt
Almeida is reshot having taken out his at three opponents by TKO. Yes, not all of them have been huge names, but that show you but up a resume. His opponent is a competent striker and wrestler so he should have a good clash of styles. I just think Almeida is a little bit more dynamic and dangerous on the ground. Unless Garbrandt can pull the fight into deep waters, he may not have a chance. Almeida by TKO int he second round.
Renan Barao vs. Jeremy Stephens
Barao should win this fight unless he is completely shot as a fighter. He has just as good of hands and more dynamic standup, a much more dangerous ground game and a gnarly clinch game as well. This should make an interesting fight, but Barao should take a decision win in his 145 pound debut.
Tarec Saffiedine vs. Rick Story
Saffiedine was almost so hurt he had to be pulled from the fight before being cleared by a UFC doctor. Story has been out for much longer with some injuries. The is a fight between two fighters plagued by injuries who used mohave such bright futures in the sport. Still, Story always seems to pull off the upset when he needs it the most. Look for tat to happen when he takes a decision over the former Strikeforce Welterweight champion.
Jorge Masvidal vs. Lorenz Larkin
Masvidal is a good fighter, but he moved up to Welterweight and is facing someone who used to fight all the way up at 205. Larkin is a very competent striker who can finish fights. He has looked very good since coming down despite a loss in his last fight. Look for him to take a decision victory over the tough Masvidal.
Josh Burkman vs. Paul Felder
Burkman has had some trouble int he UFC since coming back but a drop down to 155 seemed to have righted the ship, but that ship is about to sink with a few hands from Felder. This is a fighter who nearly beat top five Lightweight Edson Barboza. Felder lost two straight but got back int he winning column with a win by submission in his last fight. Felder wins by TKO in the first.
