UFC Fight Night 94 Goes Big!

UFC Fight Night 94 is set to take place in September in Hidalgo, Texas, and while no one has confirmed the main event, it looks like a bout between Michael Johnson and Dustin Poirier is set to take place. Poitier has won four straight since moving up to 155 with three finishes in those four bouts. His most recent win came at UFC 199 where he knocked out top ten Lightweight Bobby Green int he first round.

Johnson has fallen on harder times as of late having lost his last two straight both by decision to Nate Diaz and Beniel Dariush. He won four straight before that which had him in talks for contention, but looking back the only big win was against Edson Barbiza If this fight comes to fruition, it has a lot on the line for both fighters as a loss for Poirier would be a big loss considering his win streak.

In the co-main event, Uriah Hall looks to regain the momentum he lost with his decision loss to Robert Whittaker. Before that, he was red hot with a big win over regard Mousasi. Now, he takes on the streaking Derek Brunson who with a signature win could find himself as a contender for the middleweight crown. He sits at 6-1 in the UFC with three straight knockouts int he first round in his last three fights. Already cracking the top ten, Brunson could burst into he top five with a big finishes in this fight.

Also set for the card is a tough fight at 155 between Evan Dunham and Abel Trujillo. Both of these fighters have had hard losses in the past and a loss here would kill all of their momentum in the crowded Lightweight division. Out of these three big fights which one are you the most excited to see?
