UFC on Fox 15 Predictions: Main Event

Lyoto Machida vs. Luke Rockhold

This is a big fight for both fighters as both are angling for a title shot and with a loss here it will take a lot longer to get that shot. Plus, with Ronaldo Souza not getting his original fight it is possible this is now the number one contenders fights. This fight is not determined by who can finish but who can last. Both fighters are tough but this may come down to the later rounds. Machida knows what it takes to win a decision and will take a close unanimous in this fight.

UFC on Fox 15 Predictions: Undercard

Ronaldo Souza vs. Chris Camozzi

This fight has already happened and this time it will not be different. Unless Camozzi can land an errant punch, Souza should win this by submission just as easily as last time. Souza by submission

Cub Swanson vs. Max Holloway

This may be one of the most even fights on the card with both fighters brining some great strengths but also having weaknesses. Holloway needs to take this to the ground as much as possible as that is where Swanson has lost every fight. If it stays standing, Swanson has more power and can match Holloway’s reach. Swanson takes this fight by decision over Holloway.

Felice Herrig vs. Paige Van Zant

Van Zant is a tough fighter but she is still very green. Herrig has only ever lost to fighters who could outwrestle like Tecia Torres among others. With no discernible wresting pedigree with VanZant she will make the fight competitive but will eventually lose a decision.

UFC on Fox 15 Predictions: Prelims

Jim Miller vs. Beneil Dariush

Dariush is a tough fighter for taking this on short notice, but he losses a big advantage when matching grappling prowess with Miller. While Dariush is a tough ground fighter it is hard to beat the combination of a former division 1 wrestling with a black belt in jiu jitsu. Daruish will make this interesting but Miller wins by submission late in the fight.

Ovince St Preux vs. Patrick Cummins

Cummins may be a stronger wrestling but that does not always boil down to a win in MMA. This involves a lot more and St Preux seems to have a position to win this fight due to height, reach and maybe even better knockout power. St Preux by TKO in the second round.
