UFC Resigns Cro Cop and Rematch Gonzaga

UFC Resigns Cro Cop after going 3-1 in MMA and 7-1 in Kickboxing since leaving the organization in 2011 after a stretch of three losses.

UFC RESIGNS CRO COP

UFC Resigns Cro Cop who is in search of some rematches as he will most likely end his combat career. All of this came after Bellator expressed in signing the veteran.

It will have been over seven years since Cro Cop and Gabriel Gonzaga first faced off, but these are the types of fights that he wanted when the UFC Resigns Cro Cop. Gonzaga himself will look to rebound after losing his last two fights to Matt Mitrione and Stipe Miocic. Their fight will be the main event of UFC Fight Night 64 which takes place April 11th in Poland.

Cro Cop proved to be a potent striker since he finished his last two MMA bouts by TKo including his former patent head kick. He also won a title in K-1 in a tournament format. Before his losses, Gonzaga had gone 4-1 with two wins by TKO and two wins by submission including Ben Rothwell. His only loss in that span is to top three Heavyweight fighter Travis Browne.

The only other fight that has been announced for the card pits potent power striker Jimi Manuwa against Jan Blachowic most likely in the co-main event considering Blachowic is of Polish descent. Blachowic made it into the UFC on the strength of a five fight win streak with wins over Goran Reljic, Houston Alexander, and Sokoudjou. He made an impressive debut by finishing Ilir Latifi in under two minutes which is something  no one had done before. Manuwa has something else to prove considering he was starched by potential number one contender Alexander Gustafsson in his last fight. Before that he had won 14 straight fights with finishes in every match. It seems almost all the fighter lined up for this card have something to prove so far.
