San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino

Valor Fighting is primed and ready to thrill a live audience at San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino with an entertainment overload in the form of live Professional Mixed Martial Arts fighting action. The spectacle, taking place on October 26, will feature 9 big fights inside the unforgiving confines of the Valor Cage and some very special guest appearances. The stakes will be high when some of the world’s greatest fighters step into battle on October 26.

Ruben Villareal to face Justin McCully in Heavyweight Main Event!

Ruben “Warpath” Villareal is one of many top-level fighters who will compete in Valor’s debut at San Manuel. The proud Native American is known for his courage; and for never backing down from a challenge. Warpath has faced many of the biggest names in the sport including Dan “The Beast” Severn, and Don “The Predator” Frye. Villareal took Frye to the limit in a hard fought battle that was proclaimed a draw once time had elapsed. Recently, Warpath stepped up to the plate once again to fill in for Kimo in a fight with the legendary Bas Rutten. Villareal took the fight with only two days notice! Nobody else was willing to face Rutten under these circumstances. Warpath claims that Mother Bear and the Eagle Spirit guide and inspire him when he steps into battle. With his signature war paint, Villareal is one of the most colorful and imposing competitors in all of MMA today.

He will have his work cut out for him on October 26, as Warpath will lock horns with tough as nails Heavyweight Justin “The Insane One” McCully in the Main Event. McCully is a very technically sound fighter. In fact, Justin is the head trainer for none other than “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” Tito Ortiz. This promises to be a very physical battle of the big men!

Clark “The Irish” Bulldog Bevans vs. Marcus Gaines

In a battle of undefeated fighters, Clark “The Irish” Bulldog Bevans will face Marcus Gaines. The aptly nicknamed Bevans is an accomplished wrestler who loves to charge his opponent, take him down and beat him into submission with a devastating ground and pound attack. To date, Bevans has a perfect 3-0 record in MMA competition. “The Irish Bulldog” always has some added inspiration when he fights. That is because his wife Erin Toughill (the #1 ranked female MMA fighter in the world) is in his corner for every fight.

Marcus Gaines is a talented young fighter who looked very impressive in his recent Valor debut. Gaines, a highly skilled boxer knocked his opponent John Pop out cold with a vicious right hand in that fight. Like Bevans, Marcus Gaines is undefeated in MMA competition. When Bevans and Gaines face-off, one of these men will suffer his first defeat. Who will be left standing? Make sure you are on hand live to find out!

Fighting Legends Kimo and Tank Abbott to appear at Valor Fighting on 10/26!

The eyes of the MMA world will be on San Manuel on October 26. Some big time heavy hitters (no pun intended) in the fighting business will be on hand to take part in the festivities. Among them will be fighting legends Kimo and Tank Abbott. In addition to taking in all the action, Kimo and Tank will each make a very special live appearance at San Manuel, and will be available to take pictures with and sign autographs for all of the great fans on hand on October 26. Valor Fighting President Rick Bassman commented, “We are thrilled that Kimo and Tank will be in the house. Their presence should really add to the “Big Fight” atmosphere and set the tone for all of the great action that will go down at San Manuel.” Below is more info on these legendary fighters:

Kimo is a true Icon of MMA. He is one of the warriors who first put this intense form of competition on the map. The 235-pound warrior from Hawaii always stood out from the pack on account of his intense no nonsense fighting style and his signature tattoos. Kimo, who was recently inducted into the UFC Hall Of Fame, has stepped into battle with the biggest names in the history of the sport including Ken Shamrock, Tank Abbott, Dan Severn, and Royce Gracie. At 41 years of age, the battle-tested veteran continues to fearlessly step into the octagon and ring as his legacy continues to grow.

David Abbott, better known as “Tank” is also a true icon of Mixed Martial Arts; and is one of the individuals who helped to put the sport on the map and popularize it. Despite what Tito Ortiz may claim, Tank states that he is “The original Huntington Beach Bad Boy”! He lives up to that name, as his style is self-described as “pit fighting”. Tank’s roughhouse no-nonsense style made him unique in a world of martial artists.

Abbott also gained notoriety in that he never backs down from a fight, or an argument. Tank does not pull punches, or words! He is known for being very blunt, telling it like he sees it no matter what. During a past interview, Tank answered, “I don’t respect anybody, not even you!” when a reporter questioned whether or not Tank respected his opponent.

Abbott made his MMA debut in grand fashion back in 1995. He made quick work of his 400 lb. Opponent John Matua, knocking him out in 20 seconds. He later battled one of the greatest fighters in history, Oleg Taktarov for over 17 minutes on the same night.

Tank is extremely powerful. In fact he has been known to bench press as much as 600 lbs.! His power translates to devastating knockout ability; over half of his wins have come by way of knockout.

Tank has done well against large opponents. As mentioned before, he annihilated John Matua in his debut, and also toppled the 6’8” 300 pound Paul “The Polar Bear” Varelans. More recently, Tank knocked out Wesley “Cabbage” Correira in the first round. Correira, known for his chin, had never been knocked down let alone knocked out at that point in his career.

Don’t miss this rare opportunity to meet two of the greatest fighters in history on October 26!

Make sure you are on hand live to witness this HUGE night of action and entertainment!
