Woodley VS Thompson: The Feud Continues… “I Don’t Respect Him”

Well, Stephen Thompson just got his big wish… He has finally been booked to face the division’s champ, Tyron Woodley at UFC 205 on Nov. 12, 2016 in New York.

Full details can be found here.

But Woodley says that he thinks Thompson may have gone just a slight bit overboard with his large efforts to try and make him (Woodley) look bad on social media, this was exceedingly prominent after “Wonderboy’s” post on “The Chosen One” and the fact that he (Woodley) was essentially just “ducking” him — despite the known fact that the title fight had already been agreed upon a good six weeks before.

Here’s what Woodley had to say about these matters, the upcoming fight, and Stephen Thompson’s “outlandish” actions…

“The thing that motivates me about this fight is ‘Wonderboy’ I respect him as an opponent, but I really don’t respect him as a man. He knows that we committed to this fight almost six weeks ago and for him to charade around like I’m scared to fight him, retweeting and liking all these posts. For someone to desperately need that affirmation from the fans and for people to like him, like I can’t respect that.”

“For some reason, he’s managed to get underneath my skin and I just don’t buy that fake humble, I just don’t buy it. When someone’s portraying something they’re not to get underneath my skin, I’m just going to funnel that into a great strategy and I’m going to try to get him out of there quick.”
