Vinny competes next at ADCC 2011 in Nottingham, England on September 24-25. Vinny will fight in th 99+kg division against the likes of Bruno Bastos, Antonio Silva, Jeff Monson, "Cyborg" and others.
He has also recieved a nomination for "Submission of the Year" by FightersOnly Magazine for his M-1 Global LHW title-win over Victor Nemkov. Vinny submitted Nemkov with a Mounted gogoplata/neck crank on 4/282011 at Saint Petersburg Ice Palace Russia. Winners will be announced at the World MMA Awards
